Challenge
While scrolling through X (formerly Twitter), I came across a job opportunity. This inspired an idea:
What if the process of sharing work in iOS could be as convenient as sharing the WiFi password?
Process
Since this concept was inspired by the "share WiFi" feature in iOS, I started by copying the existing format - ensuring some level of consistency.
In an effort to use existing iconography from iOS/macOS folders, I explored the idea of having the feature direct you to share a specific folder from Files.
However, I figured that there had to be a more interesting way to showcase work, one which could spark joy.
So, I landed on the following design, using colors and motion to visualize your body of work being sent.
